Getting started

MYM account opened with Google, Facebook or Apple

Create a password on MYM to connect a creator who signs in with Google, Facebook or Apple.

Fansquare connects a creator with the email and password of her MYM account. If she opens MYM with a Google, Facebook or Apple button, her account has no password, and Fansquare cannot go through these sign-ins. Creating one, once, is enough. She keeps signing in to MYM as usual afterwards.

Create the password

  1. 1

    Sign out of MYM

On mym.fans, the creator signs out of her account, or opens a private browsing window.

  2. 2

    Ask for a password

On the MYM sign-in page, she clicks Forgot password, then enters the email of her Google, Facebook or Apple account: it is the email of her MYM account.

  3. 3

    Choose the password

She opens the email sent by MYM, follows the link and chooses a password.

  4. 4

    Connect the creator in Fansquare

In Fansquare, open Connect a creator, pick her, then enter this email and the new password.

With Apple, the creator may have chosen to hide her address. The email of her MYM account is then an @privaterelay.appleid.com address, which she finds in her Apple ID settings, under the apps that use Sign in with Apple.

If the connection is still refused

  • The MYM email does not arrive: check the spam folder and the address entered, the one of the Google, Facebook or Apple account.

  • MYM refuses the credentials: enter the password again, minding uppercase letters. Each new attempt waits a little longer.

  • Two-factor authentication is on: it does not work with Fansquare. The creator turns it off on MYM, then you connect again.

For the rest of the connection, see Connect a MYM account.
