Scripts

A script is a message prepared in advance: a text, media and a price, or a series of messages that go out one after the other. Each creator has her own scripts, organized in collections on the Content › Scripts page. In messaging, a script goes into the reply field in two clicks.

Who can manage them

The Scripts page requires the Manage scripts right. Without it, the Send messages right is enough to use scripts from messaging, without being able to edit them. Scripts that contain media also require Send media. Rights are set per role, see Team and roles.

Collections

First choose a creator in the left column. Each script belongs to a collection, which you therefore need to create before the first script. The + button of the Collections column offers Create a collection, Import from Excel and Import from another creator.

• A collection has a name of 22 characters at most and an optional description.

• All shows the scripts of every collection.

• A collection's arrows move it up or down, the three-dot menu edits or deletes it.

• Under each collection, its numbers: number of scripts, sends, purchases and amount sold.

Create a script

   Open the form

   Open the collection, then click Add a message.

   Write the message

   Give the script a name of 30 characters at most, then write the text, 500 characters at most.

   Add media and a price

   Select media opens the creator's media, up to 20 per message. A media item already used in another script is flagged. The price is 0, or goes from €5 to €1,000, and a paid message requires at least one media.

   Save

   Click Save.

For a series, Add a message in the form adds the next message, up to five messages per script. Each message has its text, its media and its price, and the arrows change their order. In the table, a series shows its number of messages under its name.

For a creator who has voice messages on MYM, the media also offer her audio files. A voice script contains a single audio, with no photo or video.

Organize and import

• In a collection, the arrows to the left of each script change its order. They do not appear in All.

• Import from Excel starts from the Download template file: one sheet per collection, whose name becomes the collection's name, and one row per script with its name, its text and its price. The import brings no media.

• Import from another creator copies scripts picked one by one, or whole collections. Prices are kept, media are not copied: they belong to the original creator.

Statistics

The Statistics column gives, for each script, its sends, its purchases, the amount sold, its Purchase rate (purchases / script sends) and its Refused. For a series, sends count the uses of the script, and purchases and refusals add up all its messages.

Use a script in a conversation

   Open the scripts

   In the reply field, click Select a script, or press Option or Alt + S. The Choose a script window opens, with the creator's collections on the left and a search.

   Choose

   Each script shows whether it has already been sent in this conversation, from Never sent to Accepted or Refused. A warning appears when a script contains a media item already offered to this fan.

   Insert

   Use this script puts the text, the media and the price into the reply field. Nothing goes out before you send, and the text stays editable.

For a series, Message 1, Message 2 and following tabs appear above the field. After each send, the next message loads.
